An analysis published in the world’s leading ecological scientific journal, Frontiers in Environmental Science, reveals how a toxic cocktail of insecticides, weeds and fungicides is destroying the planet’s       fields. According to the United Nations, the continuing impoverishment of the planet’s soil at this rate means that, in 60 years’ time, the world’s nourishing soils will be depleted.
